Pillowfort at Target

Have you all checked out the new kid’s line Pillowfort at Target? I’m in love. Cute stuff for boys, girls and tons of gender neutral stuff too. The prices are actually pretty reasonable, I picked up a new comforter set for Hollis for $40 + 10% off + free shipping. I want it all, but I’ve narrowed down a few of my faves!

So cute right?! I didn’t even pin pics of all the adorable bedding, so many great sheets, blankets, and comforters!

What I NEED From Target….Right Now

Once again, Target is kind of killing it right now with their home decor. Plaid is super in right now, and I have to admit, I’m pretty into it. Sadly, I haven’t owned anything plaid since like middle school so I have a lot of catching up to do. I want to take it slow though and just add in a few plaid things here and there. Here’s my faves for Fall!

1.& 2.  I am super picky when it comes to throw pillows. I love colors and prints   that transcend seasons and that I can shuffle around the house in different rooms to shake things up. I love both of these!

3. & 4. I can’t remember the last time I bought a candle holder. Now is the time. This copper candelabra and black and gold holder are inspiring me to break out some taper candles asap!

5. This throw would be an easy way to add some plaid into our lives and add to our throw collection. Win win.

6. Need a place to stash all those throws? Or some wood for the fire place? Or just about anything else? This pretty copper bin is perfect.

7. Like throw pillows, I like to play musical chairs with my accent rugs too.

8. Plaid napkins. Napkins are such an easy way to change up your usual table setting without investing a bunch of money. And plaid can be layered with lots of different patterns or just to jazz up a solid place setting.

9. & 10. I only have one casual, everyday dinnerware set and then our fancy, schmancy china. I would love to incorporate some fun pieces like these to mix and match with the dinnerware we already have to shake things up and make it feel like we have a lot more options.

11. Flatware. Flatware is the one thing I really regret not registering for when we got married. We thought about it, but never found anything we really loved. Now it seems like everywhere I turn, I see flatware I would register for IMMEDIATELY! Target alone has several sets I would love to bring home including this cool matte black set.

Dressy Duds For The Littles

Easter has completely snuck up on me this year! I have had an awful cold this past week (it’s still lurking its ugly head) and feel so behind on everything. The only upside to being sick is that it makes for a great excuse to sit on the computer and do some online shopping, so that’s what I’m doing. I’ve compiled some of my fave toddler looks so far from the three places we shop at the most.

Window Shopping: Target

I’m not really into Spring cleaning. Winter cleaning is what it’s all about for me. Something about the month of January just makes me want to purge everything and start fresh.  I’ve been cleaning every nook and cranny of this big old house. Organizing closets, filling bags to donate, rearranging furniture,  organizing under the sinks, even cleaning out my car. My hubby even helped out by purging his closet, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen him do in all the years we’ve been together.

The middle of Winter is also when I start to feel like I need to freshen things up around the house. Nothing major, but a few new decorative pillows or table runner can really help refresh a space without breaking the bank. I’m also finding myself needing storage bins and baskets, I just never seem to have enough of them! Just by switching a few things out, my Winter blahs seem to go away.

It’s no secret that Target is one of my favorite places to shop. They are kind of killing it right now (pretty much always)  with the home decor. I’ve been “window shopping” via online, to get some ideas. Here are some things I’m considering for the home.
